As part of its mission to advance global, multi-stakeholder collaboration, PSI is committed to building a decentralized peer-to-peer network for research and innovation. This network will be anchored by eight regional innovation hubs, or ‘innovation collaboratories’, in Brazil, India, China, the Middle East, South Africa, Japan, the EU and the United States.
For each of these, we will initiate locally-appropriate R&D programs with regional partners with the understanding that 'regional knowledge action networks' of experts and practitioners will refine and steer the direction of research over time.
As part of our collaboration with Brazil’s Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation (MCTI), PSI is currently setting up an 'innovation collaboratory' in one of MCTI's campuses. Our next focus is on getting PSI’s India collaboratory up and running with support from R&D partners and sponsors.
